Certificate in Professional Coaching Skills
 

This course is ideal if you are looking to become an Executive Coach or enhance your existing coaching skills.

A specific aim of this programme is to provide a course of study that enables professional accreditation from the International Coach Federation (ICF). This will ensure that students are eligible for professional certified coach membership of the ICF which is important if they are to meet the needs of the prospective employers and/or clients, especially those whose quality assurance processes require internationally professionally qualified and certificated coaches. It is a vital underpinning for the pan-European self regulation of coaches which comes into play in September 2012.

Managing Under Pressure

 

Course Details:

This two-day course will enable participants to manage their work lives better by improving their personal productivity and the manner in which they interact at work. Participants will learn to recognise and respond to early warning signs of overload and burnout and to discover ways to use these warning signs as signals to change work or leisure circumstaces to reduce stressors. This course includes one full day of interactive group work plus two pivate half day consultations.


Time Management
 

Course Details:

This one-day programme enables participants to increase productivity, learn how to prioritise work and work more efficiently and effectively. It covers time management from both a strategic and operational point of view. Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to prioritise tasks, analyse their use of time and develop an interruption elimination system.
 

Maximising Meetings
 

Course Details:

This one-day programme enables participants to develop the skills required to conduct focused, interesting and results-oriented meetings. Employees at all levels, particulary those with supervisory, management or coordinating responsibilities, will find this course beneficial when engaging in essential preparation and goal setting for meetings.

 

Six Sigma


Course Details:
On completion of this program, candidates will be able to use Six Sigma tools to improve both manufacturing and business processes within their organisations. Six Sigma is based upon driving variation out of the process, eliminating defects at source and hence delivering significant savings to the bottom line. As well as completing the training modules, candidates will complete an in-house project as part of a small cross-functional team. Projects that deliver savings of about €25,000 per annum would normally be considered appropriate Greenbelt projects.
