Management Development Programme

This course has been written and designed for those with the potential to become inspirational leaders of the future. Our expert team will develop, train and prepare ambitious managers to further enhance their management skills and move up through the ranks. This programme will present students with real challenges, real solutions and real rewards. Over the duration students will receive ongoing mentoring and support from our team and upon completion will receive a certificate and a medallion of achievement. Each student will be assigned a mentor over the duration of this programme.
This programme has been written in conjunction with Dr. Ivor Kenny, founder of the Irish Management Institute. Students will receive a number of business books as part of this course, written by Dr. Kenny.

Dr. Kenny has spent a lifetime working with international companies on their strategies and helping managers see more clearly what they already know so that their organisations can work better. This workshop is a practical assessment of management styles, management challenges and management failings as seen through the eyes of Dr. Kenny.

Presentation Skills
 

Course Details:

At the end of this one-day programme, participants will be able to prepare and effectively deliver a presentation with confidence.

Who Should Attend?

This training programme is ideally suited to first time or relatively inexperienced presenters. The emphasis is on preparation and confidence building. Inexperienced presenters will have the opportunity to practice and improve their presentation skills in a comfortable and friendly training environment.

Course Content

This programme is highly participative with particular emphasis on skill development. We recommend a group of 8 delegates. It is envisaged that each participant will deliver a 5-10 minute presentation , delegates should prepare for this and bring with them their own material (on power- point / on acetates / on a script) in order to deliver this talk.

Train the Trainer

A continuous training programme is a powerful asset in our constantly changing world. Still few people have the right qualities to be very effective trainers. This programme and its various learning methods will increase the skills and knowledge of existing as well as novice trainers.

This interactive course will develop your skills for you to provide high quality and innovative training solutions.

Bullying and Harassment


This one-day programme covers the legal implications of the employer, understanding of the signs of bullying and the importance of taking immediate corrective action. Learn to differentiate between personality conflict and unacceptable behaviour, and implement a code of practice which supports dignity in the workplace.

This one-day course will educate and inform managers about their rights and responsibilities in supporting dignity at work. The EPICWay Practitioner
 

The EPICWay Practitioner is part of a series of Project Management Qualifications leading to Professional level at HETAC Level 6. At each level we transfer tools, processes and skills necessary to reach the qualification. The EPICWay practitioner is a work-based, highly interactive programme in Project Management accredited at FETAC Level 6. The Programme takes place over one week with a self study element in between. Project Management is not complex but it is comprehensive. Using a live project which you bring to the workshop, the EPICWay model will activate your project by putting it through the Evaluate, Plan, Implement, Complete cycle.
